It all started with a problem: schools had not done their homework when it came to digitalisation.

Let’s start with the latest development at FoxBau: Since March 2026, FoxEducation has been part of Seven Education. The Sdui Group brings together the education brands KidsFox, SchoolFox, Additio App, educa Grades & Certificates, educa AI, Educamos, Konecto and PUPIL under a new name and is creating a shared platform.
Six functional areas are being developed and continuously expanded: school communication, class management, lesson planning, school administration, digital learning, and LMS. More than 25,000 daycare centers and schools are already working successfully with our solutions.
The foundation for this was laid in 2024, when FoxEducation became part of the Sdui Group, one of Europe’s largest providers of digital solutions in the education sector. At that time, the Sdui Group, together with FoxEducation and its other subsidiaries, was already supporting over 22,000 educational institutions in digitizing their communication and administrative processes with their innovative solutions. This includes not only individual institutions but also education providers, municipalities, and entire federal states.

Since 2022, FoxEducation has been on an expansion course in schools and daycare centers across the entire German-speaking region. With over 8,000 educational institutions now successfully using FoxApps, this growth has been very effective. Previously, an important milestone marked the next step for FoxEducation: the collaboration with GoStudent! Both companies share the goal of providing children with a better education, but they focus on different areas and complement each other. In this context, Philipp Fendt joined the management team and, as of 2023, serves as Co-CEO and Managing Director.

The pandemic shortened decision-making processes for school authorities, allowing projects and tools to be quickly adapted and implemented. SchoolFox enabled many schools in Austria and Germany to continue teaching through homeschooling. By the end of 2020, FoxEducation was finally ready to launch KidsFox, helping not only schools but also kindergartens and daycare centers to digitalize their educational daily routines.

Around 15 pioneering teachers agreed to use the new SchoolFox app in their classes. These first users were a key reason for the successful further development of the app. Teachers and parents liked the app so much that it spread by word of mouth alone – including in Germany. The first trade fair appearance in Germany followed in 2017. After a lot of positive and constructive feedback from teachers, another area with a lot of digitalisation potential was discovered: kindergartens and daycare centres. Until then, the company had only been known as SchoolFox – with “KidsFox” for daycare centres, it needed a presence with a neutral name: That was the birth of FoxEducation.
